How to take the Intercultural Development Inventory
1. Go to the IDI website here
2. Enter the unique username and password from the piece of paper Ruth and Debbie gave you.
3. Complete the questions in the instrument. Don't overthink the questions; try to answer spontaneously. Some of the questions might seem to offer choices that don't seem like real options to you. Choose your responses to be the best of your intuition. There are no right or wrong answers, nor "good" or "bad" responses.
4. At the end, the instrument will ask you for several reflections on your personal experience. These are important for applying some of the results of the instrument, so do complete these personal experience questions.
Your responses on the IDI are private and confidential, shared only between the IDI administrators (Ruth and Debbie) and yourself. It is your personal choice, how much of this you wish to share with the group.
We will also have a group profile generated which will be shared with all participants, but no individuals are identified, and the information is only reported in the aggregate.
