- ePortfolio Prompt to be completed by November 8:
- The purpose of this reflection is to process our conversation in the FLC on Tuesday. You can reflect and analyze any impression that was salient for you, or if you like, you can write on the following topic:
- Reflect on how the IDI informs your perspective on cultural diversity in our college community and analyze this perspective might influence how you approach diversity issues in your classroom/lab/clinic. End the reflection by specifying any new insights that you have realized as you process these ideas. One way to do this is to end the reflection with a sentence that starts, “I realized that…”
- Remember that there are no correct vs. incorrect answers in these reflections. However, there are cursory vs. thoughtful answers, and we encourage the thoughtful kind. The purpose of the reflections is to give you a venue of further exploration and to share ideas with sufficient time to think about the issues after our group conversations.

- Discuss what your Outside Experience might be
- ePortfolio Prompt to be completed by January 10: For a staff or faculty member who is unfamiliar with this concept of “cultural facilitator”, explain what it means to be a cultural facilitator at UCBA. - What is expected for the instructor or the staff member?
